At Meisel the health and well-being of our team is at the core of our sustainability policy. We promote green initiatives in order to educate our employees on their ecological footprint and sponsor training classes to ensure workplace safety. At Meisel we strive to create an inspiring and engaging workplace with a focus on health, safety and the environment.

  • Health - Meisel's wellness initiative encourages individual health awareness and promotes healthy living for all employees. Part of this initiative is a company sponsored biometric screening; in which team members voluntary participate. The results help to form a company baseline of health statistics; so that future company sponsored activities can be planned by our “Wellness Team” to include healthy food choices and fitness activities. As an end result, Meisel hopes that educating our team will help to reduce employee medical costs while making our team healthier.
     
  • Safety - The safety of the Meisel team is very important to us. Meisel requires all employees to attend our annual “Right to Know” training. This program ensures that employees understand the materials they work with and wear the proper protective equipment among other safety guidelines and regulations. At Meisel it’s not just about being safe, it’s about working in a safe environment.  
     
  • Promoting Green - Meisel does not just claim to be a green company, we actually promote green living to our team. We host an annual employee appreciation event called “Live Happy, Live Healthy, Live Green Day” in which we provide our team with a gift bags filled with earth friendly goodies. We also offer an incentive for environmentally friendly vehicles by providing premier parking spots in our Sustainable Green Parking area. Meisel continuously encourages recycling by providing easy access to paper, plastic and aluminum bins throughout our office building.
